Why do my gutters overflow in heavy rain?
Usually a blockage, an outlet that is too small, or gutters that have lost their fall so water ponds. We find the cause and put it right.
Can you fix my existing gutters rather than replace them?
Often yes. If the gutters are sound we can realign, reseal and re-bracket them. We only recommend replacement when it is genuinely needed.
What size gutters do I need?
That depends on your roof area and the heaviest rainfall. We size gutters and downpipes to cope with North East downpours without overflowing.
Do you fit leaf guards?
Yes. We can fit gutter protection to cut down on the leaf and moss blockages that cause most overflow problems.
How often should gutters be cleared?
Most homes benefit from an annual clear, especially if trees are nearby. We can advise based on your property.
